Dead battery from sitting won't start from jump or trickle charger?

My 2008 chrysler sebring sat too long
between uses and now the battery is drained
dead. I tried to jump it but couldn't get it to
turn all the way over, so now I'm trying to use
the Everstart 3A 6/12v battery charger and
maintainer but after being on that most of
the day still nothing appears to be charging
because not even a light or door open ding
sound happens. Not sure what to do?

Check your battery terminals & terminal wires and ground to frame from battery & engine for loose or corroded frayed ect, buy a new battery if it fails load test & have alternator tested too.

Thanks enginecreator for the advice. Needed a new battery and its on, but now the front & rear interior reading lights won't turn off. Checked fuses in the box under the hood but none of them seemed to be for those lights...not sure what to do now?

The under the dash (drivers side) fuse panel should have it, but it may have others on it too, do you have a aftermarket radio if so it may have the radio put on that wiring and now will stay on? Some cars have another smaller fuse panel on passenger side kick panel. The reading light should have a switch to turn them off, Sometimes its the headlight switch you turn it, or the dash dimmer is turned too far.
