I would do the following replace the thermostat, give the system a good cleaning. I would purchase a radiator flush. Use a good cleaner the wash the outside of the radiator. Change the cap and if your tank has a vent tube make sure its clear. Also make sure your fans are coming on when the car in up to temperature...

And make sure you bleed the air out of the cooling system...
