My impala for some reason will not let gas flow through. i go to pump gas and

Same issue, replaced the solenoid completely, and tried to blow out the vent line which runs parallel to the fuel tank fill line. Found no clogs but fuel still doesn't vent correctly, causing the pumps to shut off every 30 cents worth of gas, urgh. Hoping I don't need the ball inside of tank to be replaced (to discourage syphoning gas) bc it may be stuck. Engine light came on when I replaced the solenoid...2 steps back, no forward progress...

I had the same problem with my 2003 Chevy Impala (3.4L). It constantly cut off at the pump or leaked gas back out onto the ground. I replaced 3 parts. I replaced the vent selinoid (approx $40), the vent canister (approx $65), and lastly the fuel pressure sensor (approx $45). As of now, it's been 20 minutes since I replaced the last part and the gas leak has stopped completely.
