Question type: Maintenance & Repair

When i park my car on my steep driveway i always use the parking brake. Well,
after i release it, you have to pull the gear shift moderately harder for it to get
into reverse, then after that, all the gears shift very smoothly with no
problem. When i do not use my parking brake and put it in reverse it shifts
normally. Anything i should be worried about?

It could be because when its on the slant the transmission fluid is not going into the transmission constantly and when you shift its rubbing.

Had a friend who used to release the brake first and the parking pin broke. Do as you are told above.
