engine light on saturn vue 2008

when I drive for a hour 1/2 or more  the engine light comes on . once  I get to my destination and it sits for some hours the light goes off. . so far no one has found the problem .
I know the the code was something about a misfire the .most I driven is 3 hours am afraid to go longer .

Have you done the required maintenance on engine? What's your mileage? If your engine has adequate oil and fluid levels and isn't overheating I would not worry about it. My vehicle 2008 also has the same problems including airbag, low gas and whatever it feels like. Took it to dealership and its worse. There is a ECM and BCM that could be acting up. It's like a saturn owner has to be proactive and tell the dealership what parts need changing if they can't find the problem. It's a hit or miss approach at your expense sadly.
