Is the engine really from Honda as I've read some reviews that have said that and wanted to verify. I just leased a 2008 Vue Redline and took delivery last night.

Yes, looked at these myself, engine is a collaboration between GM and Honda. Nice!
I purchased a new 2008 vue redline awd. What a great ride. actually its an all new vehicle for 08' from bottom up. basically it is a design by the french car co. opel. I have the Orange/Copper color awd w/ 6 speed auto. 18 in wheels 2 inches lower than the other vue models for 08' mcpherson struts, etc.etc....best handleing vehicle I ever had especially herwe in the North Georgia mountains. sound system excellent. That said it has about 11,000 miles and the transferable long term full coverage extended warranty including all oil changes minor and major services are free/covered. I may be willing to sell it as I have a bad case of sports car menopause at present. anyone interested. I will make a good and fair sale price. Pat Adkins Clayton, Georgia

no, previous models had a honda engine the 2008 is the same 3.6 that they put in equinox and torrent models and some others from pontiac and chev. and its a GM engine based loosely on the 3.4/3.1 L engines only without the intake manifold gasket problems.
04-07 years had the optional 3.5l honda only.
Yes. They drive wonderfully!!!
