The battery in it may be worn down.you can get one at an auto parts store.

I found my wires were not making contact under the dash, I had to redo the wiring because they don't sodier those wires, they wrap them around the wire after cutting some of the insulation away from the wire to tap in to.
i tried starting with remote starter and the lights came on but didnt start. Then when I tried using the remote door opener the doors wouldnt unlock to get in.
