I have a 2008 Ford Escape can park it at night and by morning the battery is dead . The charging system is ok .any ideas what could be wrong

If the battery is getting old may be time to replace. If its a short you can do some test to see if that is it, one thing you could do tonight is unhook battery after driving and when it is going to be sitting all night and hook it back up in the morning if its a parasitic draw the battery should be fine and crank up as normal.

I have had the same issue with my 2014 escape I finally ended up getting a battery with a warranty and when it happens I just bring the old battery back and get a new one but I am getting a new battery every 6 months. I am assuming that something is draining the batteries and making them no good.

No need to pull them all at once, hook up meter then pull each fuse one at a time until the fuse circuit with drain is revealed.

I had the exact symptoms of new battery being dead each morning. Required Jump each day. Reading around the Ford Escape back rear windshield washer draws power when vehicle off. My 2009 Ford Escape battery began keeping a charge once the wiper motor was disconnected.

Pull fuse to Subwoofer and check next morning, radio still works fine.

negative battery terminal, cut the plug off the cord, and replace.

if its anything like the windstar, the body control unit will be at fault, or melted
