WE leased one several years ago. They are a great vehicle that is reliable and ugly. The only downside after the ugly is the very hard front seats.

Ugly is okay! LOL! As long as it is reliable. What about fuel mileage? I'll primarily be doing locat (90 mile range) driving and forest roads to hike. Is it good in snow and ice? We have that in the winters to deal with.

If I remember correctly we got 21 mpg on the highway on 2 lane roads at 65 to 70 mph. Also the all wheel drive works very well.

Thank you. I tried the truck out and really like it. Paperwork states 15-20 mpg. Like the hidden trunk, electric rear window, fold up back seats, etc. Gotta sleep on it and make a decision before the end of the week.

See if you can determine if it has been properly serviced. Keep the transfer case and transmission lubricant changed at the proper interval. Yup, the hidden trunk is very cool.

Yep, was able to get the service record from the local dealer. The owner did not have the transmission, rear differential, or brake fluids maintained there but did have regular oil changes. Cost would be about $500 to bring all that up to date. Hmmm...haven't made the deal to buy yet but getting close on the price. Have to take this maintenance due in consideration.

The transfer case fluid is very important to get serviced. How many miles on this vehicle?

Good miles and with service records I think you will be fine.

Thanks! Now deciding whether or not to let go that kind of $$$! Will it be worth it in the long run (like be reliable and last a long, long time)?
