Vibes rear seats are very simple to remove. Before removing seats, the first generation vibes had a thin hatch Iid the rear cargo area between the lid you lift to access spare tire anAnd the backs of rear seats. I dont know about your geneneration vibe but if it does have you, you may be able to get what fell without taking out seats. if not, there should be 2 or 4 bolts under the bottom cushion of rear seat bench, remove those bolts. next, fold down rear seats completely and remove the headrests (optional-will make them easier to move around). use screw driver or something topry the plastic floor between spare tiire compartment cover and seat backs now folded down. once the plastic floor panels off you should see a couple more bolts in there to remove the backs of seats. They should somewhat larger bolts, maybe 13mm thru 16mm in size. if you can take photos and send me them I can tell you what exactly to do, my vibe was totalled long ago but ive taken all the seats out a dozen times and it shouldnt take more then 15 to 20 minutes. my email is dyingstar@email.com .
