RMP OVER 4 , WONT GO OVER 15 miles

I drive a 08 Sonata . Today when I was driving my
car starting struggling. It won't let me drive over 15
miles and the RPM keeps going over 4 . When I
drive 40 MPH the RPM is at a 6. My manager said I
need an oil is this true ?

Sounds like a transmission issue, check the fluid level and condition.
