2008 sonata driver's side headlight module out, fuses look good?

Went to replace headlight in sonata last night.  Only the low beam out.  After I thought I was done, the whole module (high beam, marker light) is out.  Great.  Crappy fuse description on box cover hard to understand, put pulled, examined all that looked like headlights and all good.  Silly question, but can installing bulb upside down, (reverse polarity with prongs) cause the problem?  $15.00 fix that I have done before is now really Pi__ing me off.

first off ...no installing the bulb backwards will not cause it not to work. secondly the high and low beams as well as the marker bulbs are all on diffferent fuses so i think thats out too. stupid question... is the headlight assembly plugged in?
