How many years did Saturn make the Sky Roadster before going out of business?

Question type: General
Looking at buying a 2008 Saturn Sky Red Line I've found. Just curious how many years this model was made - Or the Saturn Sky Roadster body in general? Is there a source where a person can find a lot of information on them? I'm seeing a lot of different terms for the Sky - Everything from Red Line, Carbon Flash to just Roadster - Where could I find a source to explain or show me the differences??? Thank You.

The Saturn Sky is truly a roadster, not a convertible. The Red Line is the turbocharged version of the Sky using a 2.0 liter turbocharged 4 cylinder for power that is capable of 32 mpg. The standard Sky uses a 2.4 liter fuel injected engine with less power and a little less fuel economy. I prefer the Red Line because it is definitely fast and more fun to drive. Mine is equipped with a Magnaflow exhaust system and a K&N air filter kit that helps boost horsepower up to the 300 mark. Carbon flash is the black paint color with metal flake in it. I have that paint on mine, but also have the silver racing stripes that really set it off. I also have the weekend package which gives me some storage space for traveling and a duffel bag that fits in the back along with some front and rear wheel stone guards to protect the fender paint.
