Question type: Maintenance & Repair
I replaced the crankshaft and cam sensor on a
2008 pontiac grand prix with the 3008 series 3
engine. It still runs poorly and i get the same cam
and crank shaft sensor codes. Do I need to so a
case learn on this car? I have a scanner but im not
sure if it has that feature.

So I removed the cam and crank sensors took them back to autozone and got new ones and redid everything. This time I cleared the codes then tried to put the parking brake on, turned off the A/C and then while in park slowely reved the engine up to fuel off and then I released the accelerator. I did that a few times and it ran smoothly, but when it got warm it started sputtering and stahled again and thei time I just got the crank position sensor code P0336 this time. No cam sensor code this time but Im not sure if I would have got that if I would have actualy drove it or if something changed from the first time. Now to make matters worse I went back outside after it cooled a little and it started back up fine and then when I went to back it up the car won't move. It feels like the brake is stuck on or the parking brake or its stuck in P. I can't imagine what I could have doen to do that!!! Keep in mind this car has 151K miles but we have had it since new and it has been well taken care of and its used reguraly and we have had no issues until this crank issue poped up. I ahve two other threads w/ pictures of the entire process of changingt he cam and cranks sensors if that helps. I'm really gettong desperate. Any help is appreciated.
