08 grand prix fuel tank

I need to know what all must be detached from
tank before removal

Generally speaking: fuel line (may require a special tool), wire harness to fuel pump, EVAP lines, filler neck, and two tank straps. If the tank strap bolts are really rusty, start soaking them in penetrating oil days before you plan on starting the job. You may also want to consider buying replacement strap bolts or straps, they don't always survive the removal process too well.
