2008 Pontiac Grand Prix quit running while driving down the highway. Will not restart.

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 2008 Pontiac Grand Prix quit running while driving down the highway.
Under the hood there was one ignition coil cracked. Replaced all three, still
will not start. I can hear the fuel pump run for about three seconds and then
stop. Any ideas on what it could be without changing out a number of things
that it could possibly be?

The computer probably knows, but you have to ask it. Take it in and have the codes read. A few dollars spent on proper diagnostics will save you hundreds.

It wasn't giving any codes. It ended up being the electronic ignition fuse. Less than $5 part caused all that aggravation. Thanks for your input!
