Not all Grand Prixs from 97-08 have ABS. I had an 06 Grand Prix with no ABS. it wasn't a mandatory requirement in the US until 2012. To check if your vehicle has ABS, the yellow ABS light will come up on the gauge cluster for a couple seconds when you key on.

If you have abs there will be two lines going from your master cylinder to an accumulator and then you'll have four brake lines going out of that. My 02 grand prix has abs and that is the way mine is set up. You also may have a control unit (brain) attached to said accumulator.
