Does my 2008 Grand Prix has ABS

Did they make 2008 grand prixs without abs? My
light doesn't come on when I start my car but I do
have the symbol on my dash, I can see it, it just
never lights up. When I break on ice I just fishtail,
no abs, I am wondering if I need something fixed or
if my car just lacks abs.

It looks like it came with ABS. When you step on the brake on ice to try and lock up the wheels, does it make a funny noise? You should notice something. Never the less you may want to have them checked out just for piece of mind.

No, it never makes a noise it just starts sliding and fishtailing.
From what I looked up the car has ABS.
If you bought the car used the seller may have disabled the ABS light so that you would not know the ABSt does not work. Try having the ABS codes read to know more about what is going on.
