Having trouble starting

I have a 2008 Pontiac Grand prix, having
trouble starting, after letting go of the key
it still wants to try and start. I just had an
ignition switch module and coils put in,
any suggestions

Must be a problem up in the steering column yet, power is still running to the starter after releasing the key. May be the lock cylinder, not sure, but have to figure out why power is still running to the starter. If you move the key back a bit after it starts and the starter quits, more than likely the problem is with the locking cylinder.
