I have a 2008 Pontiac Grand Prix new starter and new battery but it still want start now when I try to crank it the click sound I can hear

Had similar in a different make & model. Turned out to be a bad/loose battery connection. I don't remember which one. The bolt was tight, but the clamp was loose on the battery post.
