you know once the key is turned...it takes a moment.........for the fuel rail to pressurize and the injectors to start working....right now am working on a theory that your battery is gettin' older and no longer takin' a charge...also with reduced voltage...and that the ground connection (black heavy 1/0 battery cable connection to the chassis/ frame is full of corrosion from repeated 300 or more amps in fact creating a "semi-conductor" layer providing REDUCED voltages for things like the fuel injectors, fuel pump...ignition system to have to deal with reduced voltages...2008...yeah it's about ripe for a new one....before the alternator starts belly-achin'~

Yes....use a coarse wirebrush...this will cost NOTHING but your problems WILL vanish if you can assure the system ground is a SOLID 12 volts...doesn't waver and supplies steady AMPERAGE~ this needs to be done~
i think it is a a cam or crankshaft sencer going bad

Brockr..... My 2008 GP is doing the same thing. Did you find out which part needs replaced?
