pontiac Solstice for Winter

You can drive any car in the winter but just make sure it is equipped properly. You don’t say where you live so I’ll assume you get snow. Get a good set of winter tires, make sure the battery is good along with the windshield washers and wiper blades. If it’s a convertible I would look for a different car. Remember that those cars sit pretty low and may have clearance issues with packed up snow. Take a look at Tirerack.com They have great deals on winter wheel and tire sets.
Though not ideal, you can drive it in the winter like any convertible and or RWD vehicle. What state are you in and how much snow do you get? If so, I would purchase another set of rims and mount snow tires on them to swap over between seasons.
So, I am in Rochester NY. I am kinda excited to drive this car but I am not sure if buying this here is a complete no or still workable. I will be more than happy to still go with this if it's atlease workable in winter by adding snow tyres. Also I am not a rash driver.thanks!
Anything is workable if you want to. When it first snows take the car in an empty parking lot and get a feel for how it handles to get comfortable to driving it in the snow. Take vacation or call in sick on the worst snow days if you don't want to drive to work.
