I work at a transmission repair. One of our r&r guy installed a rebuild trans in a 2011 buick lucerne. Now the vehicle would not start and there is no gear indication on the dash, also our scanner has no communicating with the vehicle.

My 2010 Buick laciene wwith 80,000 miles would not move it was taken to st.clair Chevy GMC & Buick on 10/9/15 and was told the trans was bad and it cost 3200.00 to fix it. I said fix it. I have never heard of a transmission going bad this quick. I worked at the GM tech center for over 39 years and I've never heard of a transmision, going bad.GM should have put out a memo and paid for the repair. Please answer!

I have a 2010 Lucerne with 145,000 miles with same problem. I also have a 1967 Ford F100 with 742,000 miles on it. The Ford transmission still works perfect, never replaced. What has happened to American car makers since 1967?

My 2009 lucerne keeps having speed sensor issues. Dealer replaced the sensor it ran great again. 2 weeks later back to same issues. I just bought it used from a dealer less than 2 months ago. Still making payments and screwed trying to get rides to work and to see my daughter the nights I have her. Not sure if theyre going to look at it again fro free or if im out of luck.

Seens GM has a problem with Buick Lurcerne transmissions. I have an 09 with 100,000 miles and I am having trouble with the transmission. You would think after paying 40,000 dollars for a vehicle it would be better than this.
