It sure does ...Here's what you should have .... I had a problem with one that a guy brought in that he only replaced the pump but he only used a compression fitting on the outlet side of the pump when he should have used a Hose clamp ... after a few days it quit. We took it apart (Man --- GM makes that job a "piece of cake" when the put that access where they did) The pressure side of the hose blew off inside the tank and of course no pressure ... no run. Notice the fuel level on the bottom

If you still have the old one ... that level assembly slides right off If you Go to Ebay you will find the complete new assembly for less than $200 or even a guaranteed used one for less than a $100

Check the fuel pump relay under the back seat. If it's burned, replace it. If the problem recurs and the relay heats up, twist the prongs on the relay slightly so that they make a better contact. If the relay no longer heats up, you have fixed the problem. At least that worked for me. No need to replace the fuel pump. Fixed for $20 instead of $500. The seat bracket pushed against the fuse box which pushes on the relay and causes it to short out. So bend over the ends of the seat bracket as well.
