alarm, passenger door code

my 2008 chevy tahoe says passenger door open and its not, the dome lights
stay on so, so i took out bulbs. the alarm sets but doesnt make sound anymore.
please help this single mom, I don't have money for shop fees

It needs a new lock latch mechanism, the switch is built into the lock , alarm won’t sound because it thinks door is open , sometimes if you take the door panel off there is access to spray rust penetrate on the mechanism to free it up this is usually all it takes to correct, good luck
