I can't answer your question but I can add some information from a recent experience. Our check tire pressure light was on for a long time even though we had made sure the pressure in all 4 running tires was up to specifications. When we took the car to our dealer we were told that our spare tire had a deficit of pressure that is why the light would not go off. Who knew??????? What happened while we still had the tire pressure light illuminated was that our "VSC off" + "the skidding car" + "the engine light" came on. Our dealer wanted us to replace all of the coils for $800 - $900. They were able to turn these lights off during that appointment. We went to our local "trusted" mechanic who advised that sometimes the dash lights are closely related and he would wait to see if the VSC/skidding car/check engine light came back on now that the tire pressure light was turned off. He thought that replacing the spark plugs even though their replacement is not advised until 120,000 miles might be helpful. Our car has 40,000 miles on it. He checked the spark plugs he could get to, some your cannot without a special tool. Those plugs were fine. One week later, cautiously keeping the car on local trips. none of the lights have come back on. If they do we will immediately drive our car to our local guy who will put it on his computer to check the codes. The dealership di not give us the codes. Wonder why not?????? This is just a heads up

it should be under the steering wheel or on the side of the glove box
