smart for two passion dash lights on won't come out of park

That car is made by Toyota but I would avoid the dealership. Any independent shop can fix it. This "dash light" might be telling you to scan for fault codes so you will know what's wrong, first try. Also, on the brake pedal is a switch that might be failing. It is part of an interlock system that makes the driver step on the brake before putting it in gear. This circuit runs off a fuse. Scan first if you can get it there.
