no its not the fastest car anymore it might be the ugliest car but not fastest that award goes to the SSC Ultimate Aero TT

It held that title for quite a while but us Americans decided the Italians were taking 2 long so we took matters into our own cars and put the SSC Ultimate Aero into production:-)

yeah the veyron did 250 the areo does 254 so its close but i think the veyron is still a better car, it cost over 5 million pounds to build one car, VW really put a nice one together.

The Bugatti may not be the fastest anymore but it sure as hell is a lot better handling than any other road car out there and far superior design and build quality.

vw owns bugatti now and nothing the french built or will ever build will be that fast or good. french shit sucks hairy balls

i think they are both pointless cars id much rather have a F50 or a GTR or even a Koenigsegg CCXR. even those are pretty useless as well but at least they look better then the veryon.

If you check out Road and tracks website you will find a car that came out a ew months before the veyron that is quicker if you watch the standing mile results. Saleen s7tt actually did 0-200mph in 23.4 seconds vs veyron doing it in 24.2 seconds and at 1 mile the s7tt is doing 205.9mph where as the veyron is at 204.4mph. If you watch the video you will hear the driver complain about the headwind when in the s7tt on that day. They actually say it would probably hit 211mph. This is the math 2950lbs with 750hp = 3.9lbs/hp(s7tt) 4400lbs with 1040hp = 4.4lbs/hp(veyron). Reports have said that s7tt shows faster acceleration after 100mph than veyron. If you want the veyrons results confirmed check road and track 0-200mph. No one has topped out an s7tt ad is estimated at 248mph in every mag. But if it is quicker to 200mph and has some of the best aero of any car and came out a few months before veyron, then maybe veyron never was fastest car. Why these cars weren't tested together is beyond me each has fought against many others in tests but always eluding each other. The s7tt has had slightly more produced aswell. I think maybe no one had the heart to break it to bugatti or at least to have a race that close after all the money($5 500 000.00 each) VW put into its creation only to have it beat before it had a chance to get its pants up.

audi are perfictly ok my mum has an audi a4 and there in nothing bad about it lots and lots of peole have them so don''t diss them

Yes, I am not trying in anyway to dis this car as it is probably the greatest overall car ever but I think it has had competition since its introduction and the s7tt is a true production car that seems ignored for a comparison. If you compare interior and ride and evrything the s7tt has no chance but for just bristling performance from a true production car it is potent.

I saw somebody say that the aero is only 4mph quicker. I personally hate the aero but the bugatti used a 5mile strait to reach 253mph and the aero only used 3 1/4 mile strait to reach 256mph. the estimated top speed of the aero is significantly more than the bugatti as it has well over 1100hp and wieghs 3400lbs and the veyron wieghs 4400lbs with 1040hp. extra 1000lbs. I think the aero is ugly but to each their own and i do not think it is the same to produce one car and have your company claim such performance when another has a list of choices and also found the time to build a supercar.

i agree with everything you said there but the handling part. there are actually many cars that can out handle the veyron. The car was made to go strait mostly with handling coming in 3rd or 4th on the list after comfort and possibly looks. There are even mustangs produced that can corner quicker. It does not handle bad but 0.92 on the skidpad is not stellar.

VW and Porsche have been linked since the 50's. Not alot of real news there. The Audi is just the luxury version of the VW. I am sure you had your problems with a VW for you to have a grudge, but VW makes some really good cars. I own a 2003 Beetle GLS 1.8T. Probably the most reliable car I have ever owned, and I have owned a bunch.... I will make one comment though...Everyone almost always forms their opinion of a car company because they owned the cheaped run of the mill vehicle from that company. That is like forming an opinion of an entire city by living in the cheapest most run down part of town. Does not make any sense to me.

Where did you get those proven facts? I believe the veyron to be better but little info seems to be there on the build quality of ssc. The one thing the veyron might be better at is quality and ride. But that is hardly 100% better when it is out turned nd out accelerated and out gunned in a top speed match too. I do think it is a better car over all but not 100% proven.
