2008 F450 Lariat foot pedals have a device to move them in and out and it stopped working. They are all the way up, and I need to get them back down some.
OK, there is a switch on the dash that retracts and extends the foot pedals so you can
move the seat forwards or backwards and still reach them. I have them all the way
extended and they stuck. The switch does nothing now. Whattsup with that?
...is the motor burnt...you recon?...did you check the fuse for this?
golly, this diagram does not speak to the power seat~ must keep researching this~
MLP...manual lever position? mightn't this be the thing?
okay the F-450 Diesel shows this as a rotational switch selector~
okay...either this switch is the problem...or it is related to another function such as 4wd...all this is brand new to me~
or the motor which pulls it back has failed...pull it's connector and see if there is continuity or 12V.~
if there is 12 Volts there...the motor is fried~ see if it smells burnt~
