why are my rpms high and not picking up speed? it takes it a while to speed up? i drive a manual 2008 infiniti f37

i was told my clutch was replaced and was new, could they have not done it correctly?

All depend on what was replaced. May get lucky and it may just be an adjustment. So if you shift into a gear, let out the clutch all the way and the engine is revving up, then yes the clutch is slipping. So never the less it needs to be looked at.
