unlocking my car with the remote

i can no longer use the remote on the key ring to unlock my car  . i replaced the battery on the remote this did not fix it any ideas? solution ?

you are right , it did need to be reprogramed , the battery in the remote had dies and when i replaced it i needed to reprogram. not a eaasy job . but finished!! thank you.

where are the instructions to reprogram? I have tried doing it myself because the dealer wants $150 to reprogram it.
