Is there a mechanical difference?

Is there an actual mechanical difference between the 2007
and 2008 torrent/equinox steering shafts? The price
difference is huge and of course I need the expensive 2008
torrent one.

The shafts are the same for both years if you have the 3.4L engine, if you have the 3.6L engine, which was an option in 2008, it uses a different shaft.

I do have the 2008 torrent w 3.4l so I fig they were the same as the 2007 but the compatibility lists on ebay was saying they were different. Hope its for sure..ill order one tonight. Thanks
