fluid level plug

thank you,how do you fill hhr with trans fluid

There is a round plastic screw-on plug about 1.25" wide on the top driver's side of transmission. For the 2007 2.4 Liter ECOTEC motor I have, it is colored black. I believe some are also colored red on other years. It is a little hard to reach due to some wires and hoses, but finger tight. A very long and kinda thin ended funnel is also required to fill it. Should take 6.5-7 qts to refill after service. The fill level plug on mine is on the passenger side of transmission. There was no drain plug on my transmission...you need to drop the transmission pan to drain...messy job, ALWAYS.

I am.looking at an hhr- if you hold the throttle wide open it will run. It will even move around the lot but if you take your foot off the throttle it just does. Does not even try to idle it's hold it wide open.or nothing. Any suggestions where to start looking

The fill plug is located between the battery and the engine on the top of the trans.

Light tell me that i need transmission fuild
