2008 HHR - Car will crank - no start

2008 HHR - lights were left on, draining the battery. Charged the battery, the car will now crank, but will not start at all. Just keeps turning over and over. As if it's not getting fuel. My understanding from reading forums is that the fuse box panel can be problematic in these cars and be part of the problem. Any ideas?

yes i hear the feul pump
I have the same problem right now. My wife went to the store and came back okay and the next morning when she was trying to start the car all it was doing was cranking over and that's it. It will not turn over at all. I've checked a few things on the throttle body the brass thing isn't turning or getting any fuel when I press on the peddle. So I'm thinking its the fuel pump or IDK
Did you get it figured out? Im there n clueless
After months and actually over a year my 2006 hair sat. Charged battery many times just to hear it turn over and over and not start. Today I fixed it for five dollars. There is a 50 amp fuse attached on the negative side of the battery. I looked at this fuse a couple of times and saw nothing wrong till I took the fuse apart. Replaced the fuse and after a little coaxing for sitting so long it started. There is a God. Starts every time. Now if I could just get it out of park....
I'm having similar problems with my 06 hhr I put in an new starter an it still won't turn over any ideas
My 06 HHR had this problem. Before you try any expensive replacements. Check 2 fuses for the fuel pump. Mine was the gray Tyco VJ28-91F24-Z06 fuse under the 50 Amp fuse. Cost me $100 tow before we figured this out. There are several of the same fuses in the box so just switch one of those out to test it. Switched it out with another one and it started right up.
