Asked by Kittkattme Nov 16, 2016 at 10:54 AM about the 2008 Dodge Nitro SXT RWD

Question type: General

I have a 2008 a dodge nitro.  And the heater is
not working.  The defrost works but then you
turn it to the vents it only blows cool air. My
husband changed the thermostat, and also
flushed the heater system. It has not helped. I
was told that there is a blend door that maybe
not working. Can anyone tell me where to find
the blend door on my car?

There should be two blend door motors under the drivers side dash. The one closest and lowest on the center tunnel is for the heat.the one higher and further back on the tunnel is the directional motor. They look like little square boxes held by two torx screws and a wire cable harness plugged in to the box.
