Cant figure out why i'm losing water every day with no apparent leaks.

Asked by Austen Jan 15, 2016 at 01:51 AM about the 2008 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a Ford Explorer 2008 EB. Changed the radiator 6 months ago all
has been fine until recently, i am losing about half a liter of water and fluid
per day. I have been checking all hoses, clamps and places where a leak
might be but i cant find any leaks, or evidence of a leak. I cant imagine
losing so much fluid without a visible leak... baffling. The engine runs fine,
and i checked the oil cap for residue in case my head gasket is damaged,
but it looks OK to me... help!
