Car over heating
Car over heating had the radiator water pump and
the thermastat changed last week and it's still
showing overheating when driven on highway. It
sounds like it is reving up when putting the gas on
also,

sounds like it is reving up when putting the gas on

2 different issues. Check to make sure you have coolant circulating through the radiator. If no coolant is circulating through, check for blockage in the cooling system, you may have to flush it. If coolant is circulating ok, check the cooling fans to make sure they're actually working. As for the engine reving up when you step on the gas, it might be the transmission slipping
