Why does my code reader say link error

Some newer vehicles have CAN technology that's basically a faster "speaking" computer language that an older scan tool or code reader is not compatible with. You might need to upgrade your tool or have a shop diagnose it. There may be a problem with the PCM itself. Hope that helps! Jim
