earlier today I checked reviews for 08'Rogues and they were horrible now all I can find is good reviews, how can that be?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The reviews I checked 2 hrs ago told me of many problems with the CVT
transmissions, but now my searches only show great reviews for the same
Nissans!

The Nissan CVTs' have a terrible reputation. I would look for more reviews. The only CVT that seems to have a good reputation is the Subaru but some new Subaru's have a oil consumption problem.

The CVT on the 2014-2026 Rogue has been very reliable with few problems. The Rogues prior to the 2024 makeover did have issues, as many vehicles with CVT have had. The Honda CRV is still having bad vibration and driving problems on the new (2015 & 2016) models. Honda cannot or will not fix the problems.
