Question type: Maintenance & Repair
I have a 2008 town and country touring 3.8 and the coolant will not return from the overflow tank back to the radiater after cooling down. I had to replace the radiator due to a crack in it at the same time replaced thermostat radiator cap and had the system flushed professionally. the radiator is not filling back up and the overflow tank is filling up and then overflowing. I have a pressure tester and tested it and its holding pressure. Any ideas? I don't see coolant leaking from the water pump which I am thinking weephole. I am at a loss here. Thanks !

Check to see if the little hose that runs from the reservoir to the radiator has a small hole in it, is kinked or is loose. Also check the pressure cap at the radiator.
Bob, thanks, I put on Brand new Radiator cap, and I checked it with my coolant pressure tester system and it held at 15PSI as suggested, and I checked reservoir line no kinks, and visible holes. Any other Ideas? Thanks!
check if radiator is full = engine cold has the system been bled of the air?
Okay smelled the reservoir and it smells like fuel . Thinking it might be a head gasket? The coolant smells like exhaust
That was going to be my next comment. Coolant being pushed out by the cooling system being over-pressured by a bad head gasket or cracked cylinder head.
Thank you for your help
