Red Flashing Oil Pressure Light

This may be a sign of oil pump bad,or oil may be low or thin,check your oil,if full,have the oil changed and reset the computer,if light is still on,have the oil pressure checked by a certified audi dealer to make sure the oil pump is good,may just end up being a oil sending unit is bad and reading wrong,,good luck with it.

Pressure oil appears and there was change in engine sound then the car cut off what happened

Bought a Audi 2002 A4 1.8 litre for 3550, reduced from 6000. Basically the red oil red pressure pump started flashing and told me to pull the car over and immediately. I I'm hoping this isn't a serious problem I'm hoping the it hasn't damaged the engine and anyway. It is an automatic and I'm just hoping that the fact that I was able to still drive it I am hoping the damage is not too serious and praying to God that all at mystery on is a maybe to change the oil pump or something. What are your thoughts and what are your thoughts on the worst case scenario or the easiest case scenario.
