2008 Cobalt no start

Asked by Jakefree202 Mar 29, 2020 at 04:30 PM about the 2008 Chevrolet Cobalt LS Coupe FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2008 Cobalt Ls I just put new fuel
lines on from the tank to just before where the
lines go up to the engine. It cranks but won’t
start. The fuel pump does not come on. The
fuses for the fuel pump are good. Is there
Anything else causing it not to turn on besides
a bad pump? Thanks in advance!

Did you put the new fuel lines on because the car wouldn't start or were you fixing another problem? If it ran before I'd say its more likely a wire got pulled off or damaged during the line replacement. If the no start was what you were trying to fix with the fuel lines then I'd say that wasn't the problem and it's likely the fuel pump. If you've eliminated the fuses and relay then that's where I'd look next.
