Engine swap on my 2008 Chevy Cobalt

Question type: Car Customization
Hypothetically, could I put a 2018 Camaro SS 6.2 l V8 into
my 2008 Chevy Cobalt LT coupe? Me and my friends want
to do a ridiculous engine swap, and we were wondering if
this was possible. Thanks

With enough time and money, anything is possible. Do you have $80,000 laying around?
First, the cobalt is front-wheel-drive and the Camaro is rear-wheel-drive. But even if you found a big engine from a front-drive, this would be impossible to do and keep the car street legal as it would never past smog or safety checks. My first car was a "57 Bel Air and I dropped the engine/transmission out of a "59 Vette into it, but that was easy then. With computerized cars, not even conceivable. So you're into a MOD, as in track racer, so as Jeff said, all it takes to remanufacture a small car to accept any big engine is $$$$$.
