Asked by audra Nov 01, 2016 at 09:20 AM about the 2008 Chevrolet Equinox LT AWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Put a new battery &  new starter in it wont
start its dead checked all fuses everything
was good even tried to jump it several times
nothing all the lights & radio are working
help

when you turn the key on without starting the car you should hear a buzzing sound for about 2 to 3 seconds. that would be your fuel pump pumping fuel up to the injectors. if you dont hear that sound then you have a fuel pump issue

Yes it buzzes then nothing just quite tried putting the key in the on position for 10 min still nothing before i put the new battery in it was dead jumped it and it started then got the new battery put it in & nothing mechanic cant figure it out
