2008 suburban 5.3 flex fuel has 20psi at hot idle 35 at 2k rpm this
considerably lower than my last suburban which was 40psi at idle and 60psi
driving I already replaced oil pressure switch and screen. After 50 min drive it
dropped to 10psi and set code. Any ideas

I have heard on some of the 5.3L that you may have to replace the oil pump. Best to put in a high volume oil pump.

So your saying you haven't changed the oil since you had this? If the oil filter was causing the problem then I would be changing the oil & filter more frequently to get the motor cleaned out.

I just bought the truck from a chevy dealer that had changed the oil before I picked it up, I only put about 1400 miles on it till now. so like always since I grew up in an oldsmobile dealership that my family owned and I am now a service manager and master tech for Harley Davidson. I change my mobil 1 every 3k miles. also after driving 2 hours this morning it sits at about 35psi at a light and goes to maybe 47psi while driving
