Battery installed incorrectly in 2008 Pontiac G6
I purchased a brand new battery and my husband installed it incorrectly as it was late at night and dark. It immediately caused a spark and he immediately put it in correctly. My radio is fried as well as the menu display for the tire pressure, etc. for my car. However, everything else worked fine and the car started right up lastnight after the battery was installed correctly. I drove it and parked it for the night. Today my battery light is on and my daytime running lights aren't working and my car dash board lights are coming on then going off etc. I got to work and the car would not restart. It did with a jump. I do have fuses in my car. Is it possible that the problems are just fuses needing to be replaced or is it my altenator, or the wiring fried? I thought the fuses were supposed to stop the wiring from being fried. Thanks!
