Engine light on and now flashing

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Car is spitting and sputtering  replaced gas
cap, sparkplugs, going to give in and do 1
coil . Please help

Get the codes read. The engine light is telling you that there is a problem. You can read the codes if you buy a code reader but I think some auto parts stores will read the codes for you.
