How do I determine if a 2008 MDX has a trans cooler installed, for towing?

There appears to be a small plate/fin type radiator mounted in front of the main radiator, to the passenger side of center.  There is also a long ribbed tube (1" dia) that runs across the width and in front of the main radiator, near its bottom.

The small radiator may be for the transmission but it could be for the engine oil. I would get under the car and trace the transmission lines out. I doubt you car is rated to tow much at all; if you have a lot to tow get a full sized pickup.
