Replaced thermostat and burped. Only getting warm air

Asked by Shelby Jan 17, 2016 at 02:20 PM about the 2008 Jeep Liberty Sport 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I had the thermostat on my car replaced and the
car was burped, but it is only blowing out warm air.
What should I do next?

1 Answer

I would double check the "burp". Park it facing up hill on a fairly steep slope and let it idle until fully warm and with the heater on and then let it cool and top off the radiator. What temperature setting is the new t-stat?
