2008 Toyota Yaris won't accelerate

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My car has had trouble accelerating recently. Every
time I would push on the gas pedal the car wouldn't
accelerate and I'd then put the car in park and push
on the gas pedal and the engine wouldn't Rev
either. The mass air flow sensor has been replaced
so that wasn't the problem. Just 2 days ago I
replaced the Accelerator pedal position sensor
because I got a P2121 error code. The engine
check light is on as well as (!) code. Unfortunately
replacing the accelerator pedal position sensor
didn't fix the problem and at this point I have no
idea what it could be.

Blanca here just asking a follow up question: Could it be the throttle/pedal position sensor/switch "D"/"E" voltage correlation because I also got a P2138 error code.

Check for a blown ( ETCS ) Electronic Throttle Control system fuse.
